Ordering and customisation

Can I change the dimensions of a table from the collection?

Yes. Finished tables can also be adapted in length and finish. Tell us what you need – we'll confirm in writing before you order what's possible for that particular piece.

What does "one of a kind (1/1)" mean?

Every table is made just once, from one specific slab. Once it's sold, it's gone from the collection. There is no second, identical table.

Can I choose the table legs, edge and finish?

Yes, and the choice is included in the price. You can choose from five types of legs, three edges and two finishes – smooth or brushed. Everything is assembled in our workshop before delivery.

How long does a made-to-measure table take?

Typically 4–6 weeks. Tables from stock are delivered within 3–5 working days.

Delivery and assembly

How much does delivery cost?

Nothing: delivery and assembly are free of charge anywhere in Switzerland. This includes transport, carrying the table in, assembling the legs, placing it in the room and taking the packaging away – there are no further costs on site.

What do I need to prepare for the delivery?

Access to the building and enough room to manoeuvre. Large tabletops are heavy and rigid – if you have narrow stairs or tight corners, please tell us beforehand so that we can check together whether the table will fit through.

The wood

Does the table look exactly like the photos?

Not identical – and that's precisely the point. The photos show the exact piece you'll receive, but the grain looks different in the light of your own home. That's why we invite you to the showroom before you decide.

Does solid wood crack?

The tabletop moves with the humidity in the room. Hairline cracks are part of a living material and don't affect its strength. Running a humidifier in winter, when the heating dries out the air, goes a long way towards preventing them.

How do I care for the tabletop?

Wipe with a slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaning products. Don't leave liquids standing, and never put hot pans directly on the wood. Apply a coat of natural oil once or twice a year. You'll find the details in the Guide.

Payment, returns, warranty

Can I return the table?

An unaltered table from stock: yes, within 14 days. A table made to your measurements or altered at your request: no, because it was made specifically for you. Details in the Returns policy.

What warranty do I get?

Can I see the table before buying?
