It all began with a passion that kept me up at night: old wood whose grain tells a story spanning decades. I bought my first walnut logs before I even had a workshop – I left them to dry for years until I could make my first tables from them.
Since then, every piece has passed through our hands: we select the log, let it air-dry, stabilise it and finish it by hand. We don't mass-produce. Every piece is given the time good craftsmanship needs – because a good table is made once and lasts a lifetime.
Today we're a family business: from choosing the log to the last coat of oil, every step stays in our hands. We're not a factory – we're people who love wood.

We don't buy wood "out of a catalogue". We go to the source ourselves and choose only logs with spectacular grain – walnut, oak and ash from responsibly managed forests and carefully selected storm-felled timber.
The slabs dry for 4 to 5 years – first in the open air, then in rooms with controlled humidity. That patience is what makes the difference between a table that warps and one that stays straight for a lifetime.
We cut and stabilise every slab by hand and work it in one piece wherever possible, with as few joints as we can. We secure natural cracks with butterfly keys or resin to bring out the character of the wood rather than hide it.
We sand in ever finer stages. We then apply natural oil, coat by coat. The finish doesn't mask the grain – it lets it breathe and age beautifully.
