The surface is given a three-layer finish (pore sealer, oil, protective coat), making it highly resistant to oil, wine and glass rings – whether smooth or brushed.
We deliver throughout Switzerland within 3–5 working days. Our team carries the table into the room of your choice, assembles it and takes the packaging away. We'll call you the day before to confirm. Delivery and assembly are free of charge anywhere in Switzerland.
You can return a table within 14 days if it came from stock and hasn't been altered. Tables made to your measurements or altered at your request – a different length, edge or finish – cannot be returned, as they are one-of-a-kind pieces made specially for you. 2-year warranty on construction, joints and finish. Solid wood naturally moves with changes in humidity – slight changes in shape and hairline cracks are not defects. For what is and isn't covered, see our Warranty.
No. The surface has a three-layer finish: the first seals the pores, the second oils the wood, the third protects it. Simply wipe the table with a soft, slightly damp cloth and refresh the surface once a year with natural oil – it takes 20 minutes, and we'll give you instructions on delivery.
Solid wood is hard but not indestructible: very sharp objects will leave marks, but fine scratches blend into the surface. A superficial scratch can be hidden with a little oil. If the table has epoxy resin, it receives the same protective finish and behaves the same way.
Yes. Finished tables can also be adapted in size and finish. An extension system is also available on request – just talk to us and we'll find a solution.

The Dar table is made from a solid slab of wild oak, cut from a single log and air-dried. The top is a whole slice of the log – its natural contour is preserved on every side.
